You all are probably familiar with TOMS shoes and eyewear (if you’re not then watch this video), and their mission to provide shoes and eye glasses for children. I bought a new pair of the classic burlap shoes for the summer and was extremely excited because their so hard to find in the burlap style in my size. #WIN! Then I realized that my pair of shoes will also make some other kid just as happy putting on his/her pair of TOMS on. #DOUBLEWIN! Today I stared down at my feet and thought, “Gosh, this guy is modeling such a great lesson to businesses. What a great lesson to teach.” THEN it hit me, LESSON PLAN! Haha, yeah I can’t help but think of ways to turn everything into a lesson in the classroom. So I went on the TOMS website to do some research and to my surprise I found TOMS Campus Program! It has teaching resources for teachers at all levels of education. I read it over and I thought it was great! It has discussion questions that ask students to use higher order thinking skills and really think about social issues that we face today. I can’t wait until I can find a way to use this in the classroom! A++

So it appears the last time a blogged was last summer! That makes sense because from September-May I was wrapping up my 2nd and final year of Graduate school. Yup, you can call me Master now.
